Accessing Care

The referral process can take time and there is most likely a waiting list. Therefore, contact with our team should preferably be sooner rather than later. It is important to understand that first contact with St Luke’s Combined Hospices should not be as an ‘emergency service’. Rather it is a considered, and long-term, holistic care service designed for the specific needs of each individual patient and their family. Care is provided at no cost unless you are a member of a Medical Aid where the medical aid rates will apply for your specific medical aid plan.
