Centre for Palliative Learning

At St. Luke’s Combined Hospices, we offer comprehensive palliative care throughout the life course, whether you are a staff member or an interest external party. Through our Centre for Palliative Learning, we offer quality public education with a view to creating a critical mass of Palliative Care practitioners aimed at ensuring equitable access to palliative care for both communicable and non-communicable diseases. We believe that a good balance of interventions through this approach is bound to facilitate the strengthening of primary health care services, through clinics, in communities as well as in the homes of patients. By bringing the delivery of quality service in closer alignment to training and human capacity development through structured courses in palliative care.

The work of our CPL is currently being reconstructed. Please look out for periodic updates here or contact the Office of the CEO on: Alicia Soiomons (falicias@stiukes.co.za) or Ronita Mahilall (ronitam@stlukes.co.za) for more updates.
