Kamiel Singh
Kamiel Singh
I’m Kamiel Singh, a South African business professional with over 20 years’ experience across retail, finance, hospitality, education, and the non-profit space. My career has been defined by purpose, persistence, and grit—qualities that have carried me through every challenge and helped me lead with intention, impact, and integrity.
I hold formal qualifications in Business, Finance, Retail, and Hospitality Management, and I’m currently completing my Master of Business Administration. I see education as a lifelong journey, not just a credential—it’s a tool that keeps me evolving and equipped for the future.
Over the years, I’ve led large, diverse teams and managed high-turnover operations across complex environments. My leadership approach is people-centred and values-driven, focusing on growth, accountability, and clear execution. I thrive in spaces where strategy meets action—whether it’s driving performance, shaping culture, or mentoring the next generation of leaders.
In addition to my corporate experience, I’ve worked extensively in non-profit and sustainability roles, aligning operational success with social and environmental responsibility. I’ve built partnerships, driven fundraising innovation, and rolled out community-focused initiatives that prove impact and commercial thinking can work together.
I believe true success isn’t about titles or quick wins—it’s about showing up with consistency, resilience, and the courage to go beyond what’s expected. I bring energy, grit, and a solutions-driven mindset into every space I enter. I’m not afraid of pressure—in fact, I thrive in it. For me, it’s about making a lasting impact, driving change that matters, and always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
One quote that grounds me is from Martin Luther King Jr.: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” That question stays with me. It reminds me that real leadership is service, and every role I step into must leave something better behind—for people, for business, and for community.
